Great work completing the Fishy False Teeth Step it Up activity. You have created an awesome poster to display your information on whether or not fish really do have human-like teeth. I really like how you have clearly presented evidence to support your opinion that the article is true. It sounds like you have done a lot of research which is wonderful - ka pai!

I'm not 100% certain if the article was real or a hoax, but like you, I think it could be true that a triggerfish exists with human-like teeth. I think it looks really funny though!

I really like the fish photos you have included in your poster. I hope I never catch a fish like that! Have you ever caught a fish and seen its teeth? I have caught snapper fish and they have very sharp teeth!

    Keep up the fantastic mahi.

    Mā te wā,
    Fiona (SLJ).

  2. Kia Orana Fiona,

Thanks for commenting! I agree, I'm not 100% sure if ''fish with human teeth''is real but I also think it could be true.

No, I have never caught a fish before. Unless the magnetic fishing toy set counts lol. Woah you've caught a snapper, nice catch!

How's it like fishing?, Is it hard?

  3. Kia orana Uinita,

I think the toy fishing set does count lol (-: I love that game!

Great question! Fishing is actually pretty hard because you need to know so many things, like the right bait to use, where to stop the boat and how to know if the fish have eaten your bait off. I really don't know any of these things! I go with experienced people that do all the thinking. Fishing can be pretty boring if there aren't many bites.

I hope you get a chance to catch a big fish (a real one!) one day. Make sure to check out its teeth!

    Ka kite anō,
    Fiona
